Linda began her lifelong career in health care by enlisting in the US Army Reserves as a Combat Medic straight out of high school. Over her eight years of service, she balanced her duties with college and her early nursing career. Linda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University and her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating summa cum laude, from Regis College's Family Nurse Practitioner program.
With 22 years of experience working alongside Dr. Carpentier at Dowd Medical OB/GYN, Linda is thrilled to return to the area and continue providing exceptional care to women in her community. Her extensive career spans both obstetrics and gynecology roles, having worked as both an RN and an NP. Linda is deeply passionate about women's health and works closely with her patients for the best possible outcomes.
Her diverse background includes work in private practice, nonprofit clinics, and large urban academic institutions. Linda also has a strong commitment to education, having served as a preceptor for numerous NP and PA students from various universities. She was an adjunct professor at Endicott College's nurse practitioner program and was honored with recognition for excellence in teaching by Tufts School of Medicine's OB/Gyn Clerkship during the 2023-2024 academic year. Linda warmly welcomes new and established patients to Nova Women’s Health.
